1. Who we are
The Connective (“we”, “us”, “our”) is a digital product studio based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. We build websites, AI systems, SaaS products, agent infrastructure and social media production.
2. What we collect
When you use our contact form, we collect the following information:
- Your name
- Email address
- Company name (optional)
- Your message describing the project
- Selected service category (optional)
When you send the form, your IP address is used briefly, in memory, to limit spam. It is not stored with your enquiry. Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs, such as IP addresses and browser types, to keep the website secure.
This website does not use advertising or analytics cookies, tracking pixels, or third-party analytics.
3. How we use your data
We use the information you provide solely to respond to your enquiry and to communicate about potential projects. By sending the form, you agree to us using your details for that purpose. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.
4. Who processes it
Our website and email are hosted by Hostinger, which processes your enquiry on our behalf and may store it on servers outside Malaysia. We do not disclose your data to anyone else unless the law requires us to.
5. Data retention
We keep enquiries that do not lead to a project for up to one year after our last exchange, then delete them. If we go on to work together, we keep project correspondence for as long as the engagement and our legal obligations require. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us.
6. Your rights
Under Malaysia’s Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (PDPA), you have the right to:
- Access and correct your personal data
- Ask for a copy of your data, including in a portable format where the PDPA provides for it
- Withdraw consent for processing
- Request deletion of your data
- Lodge a complaint with the Department of Personal Data Protection
7. Security
We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, loss, or misuse. All data transmitted through our contact form is sent over encrypted HTTPS connections.
If a breach of your personal data is likely to cause you significant harm, we will tell you and the Personal Data Protection Commissioner, as the PDPA requires.
